Day 1-3
Day 1
Your journey begins here in Kuta Beach, an inviting tropical oasis which is a hotspot for vibrant nightlife, great surf, restaurants and shopping. On your arrival you can get acquainted with your new travel buddies and the Globalized Citizen Team!
Day 2
Located about 30 minutes East is Bali’s sister island - Nusa Lembongan which has some of the most diverse reefs near Bali. Today will be spent snorkeling off the shores of Nusa Lembongan and relaxing on the quiet white sand beaches. Around sunset, we make our journey back to Kuta to prepare for another day of adventure!
Day 3
Travelers visit a turtle conservation center to learn about the efforts to rescue turtles and turtle eggs in Bali. Travelers choose a rescued turtle and then travel to a nearby beach where we release the baby turtles into the open sea. After this conservation effort, we continue our journey to Tanah Lot Temple, a sacred Hindu complex built in the sea. During low tide, we walk the grounds of the seafloor and view the sunset from the incredible cliffside viewpoints.

Day 4-6
Day 4
We travel to Pecatu in the southern region of Bali. The day will be spent beach hopping from the turquoise waters of Pandawa to the cliff side views of Padang Padang. In the evening, we explore the cliffside temple of Uluwatu and experience the iconically traditional Kecak Dance or best known as the Sunset Fire Dance.
Day 5
We transfer to our next launching hub, the lush jungle town of Ubud. On the way, we stop at Tegenungan waterfall, one of Ubud’s most impressive natural gems. Spend the day relaxing in the natural spring water or walk up-stream to appreciate the purity of Bali’s nature. After checking into our Ubud hotel, we spend the evening walking the grounds of the massive Hindu complex of Sacred Monkey Forest. It’s nearly impossible to visit Ubud without crossing paths with one of the thousands of monkeys who regularly roam the streets!
Day 6
Grab your oars and helmets as we plunge deep into adrenaline pumping adventure! You'll want your water camera to capture the surrounding untouched rainforest as we navigate our way through 33 rapids along the Ayung River. Along the journey down the Ayung River, you will see multiple beautiful waterfalls and incredible ancient rock carvings along the river bed. Afterwards, we visit Goa Gajah or best known as the “Elephant Cave” which is an archaeological site built in the 9th century.

Day 7-9
Day 7
Located in the village of Taro, you can get close and personal with the largest herd of Sumatran Elephants in Bali! Your entrance into Elephant Safari Park will allow you to pet, feed and take pictures with these beautiful gentle giants. Afterwards, we learn how the world's most expensive coffee 'Kopi luwak' is produced here in Bali which is known for its iconic smooth taste. Before returning to the hotel for the evening, we stop at Ubud’s most iconic rice fields, Tegallalang Rice Terraces which earned its reputation for the impressive traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system running through the terrace.
Day 8
Off the shores of Lake Batur, is an authentic, undeveloped village which is home to the people of Trunyan. The village gives travelers an insight to what life is like in some of the most remote areas of Bali. Upon receiving a warm welcome from the villagers, we take an opportunity to give back to the local people by bringing supplies from the mainland into their isolated town. Afterwards, we travel uphill to relax at a natural hot spring which overlooks the unforgettable views of Mount Batur and the lake below.
Day 9
Located Northwest of Ubud, deep within the vegetation is the tallest waterfall in Bali, Git Git Waterfall. The river leading up to Git Git waterfall forms small pools which travelers can submerge themselves in crystal clear spring water. In this area, there are a chain of waterfalls which runs through the river network. Today, we are chasing waterfalls as we travel to experience multiple waterfalls throughout North Bali.
